There was an unexpected visitor to a conference on immigration in Tyler Tuesday: President Bush's right-hand-man for years, Karl Rove.
One of the most polarizing figures in politics says most Americans have the facts of illegal immigration all wrong.
The former Deputy Chief of Staff joined Senator John Cornyn and Congressman Ralph Hall to debate the broader and the finer points of immigration with more than 100 East Texas business leaders.
Rove directly took on the issue of the deportation of illegal immigrants.
"We can't just root them out and not have some economic damage done to our country. Let's be honest about it. It's going to cost big economic damage to our country. Not only will prices of a lot of things go up, but we're going to see a lot of jobs leave the country and never come home again," Rove said.

What jobs, you lying pos? And why can’t we get rid of them, just round them up at every demonstration at the White House, etc. You can even find them in the Oval Office, shaking hands with the _resident.

Hey, FatBoy: How about telling the whole truth for once. When you (1) offset having to pay American fry cooks and dishwashers a couple of dollars more per hour than the illegals with (2) the costs of the illegals to the taxpayers, booting them out will be a tremendous boost. And an added bonus will not be giving illegals a free ticket to kill citizens by DUI and then be released to do it again.
This Chamber of Commerce mouth piece is the last person I want to hear a lecture from on immigration.
Furthermore, you don’t want to just leave them under the radar, you and your cronies want to give them special rights and privileges paid for by legal citizens who aren’t eligible for those privileges. You want to force the shrinking middle class to pay for them., on top of all the legal leeches here. Pizz off Rove.
“Karl, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that.”
“Karl, stay in the house. Seriously, Karl. Stay in the house; Karl, I don’t want to yell but it’s the middle of an illegal immigrant apocalypse, so shut up and get back in the house.”
(apologies to Firefly and The Walking Dead)
It pisses me off to no end that all stats across the board that would be incredibly revealing and damning seem to be stuck at around 2002-2005 levels. But the number one reason to oppose immigration/ amnesty is that with the privileges of family reunification and chain immigration the real numbers regarding any amnesty amount to 30 million to 60 or 70 million being made eligible to become US citizens. That is pure insanity that has no historical precedent. Realistically Mexico colonizes America while dooming any future for the indigenous people of the USA.
Why is this point not brought up by everyone in opposition to amnesty. I must have heard 30 discussions on talk radio not counting internet articles and no one brings up the reality of half of Mexico being eligible and the numbers that might be as much as half of all Mexico? Strong delusion and denial. I almost believe Americans deserve to lose their country and traditions and future.
As far as these rino’s - I have more contempt for them than all others.
I suppose public figures who oppose illegal immigration know that the supporters would call “rayciss” if they brought up that aspect. It’s a material one, though. The supporters think it’s just peachy if illegal Mexicans bring not only the culture they created and fled in Mexico, but also a mentality of flouting the law.
Steve King has fought Karl Rove since the start of 2004.
I think Broun and Stockman should use their association with Steve King to their advantage in the Senate primaries like Todd Akin did. They were in Steve King’s House gang while Cornyn was trying to rescue Rubio.

Even if prices were to go up, how much would that be offset by the savings in cutting off welfare benefits for these parasites?
I wonder how they registered on the applause meter, I’m sure the audience was hand picked.
