In less than one week, top officials in the Obama administration have contradicted one another about the threat al Qaeda poses to the United States today.
On Friday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson spoke at the Woodrow Wilson Center is Washington, D.C., where he credited President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama for putting the terrorist group on the path to defeat.
Through our governments counterterrorism efforts in both the Bush and Obama administrations, we have put al Qaedas core leadership on the path to defeat, Johnson said.
On Tuesday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said, No, when asked by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing if al Qaeda was on the path to defeat.

Johnson is to “intelligence” as toilet paper is to a book.
One of the dumbest Obama clowns to come down the pike since last week’s dumbest clown (pick one).
His statement reminds me of the one the military unofficially said about the German Army in the Fall of 1944. They were being defeated and they could’t mount another major offensive.
Hurtgen Woods/Bastogne/Battle of the Bulge/Malmedy Massacre. So many good American soldiers died because some rear echelon ahole(s) didn’t have good intelligence on the enemy’s positions or capabilities.
Same for Pearl Harbor, the North Korean and Red Chinese invasions of South Korea/North Korea.
Same for 9/11. Oh it couldn’t be done. Well it was, thanks to Clinton’s stupid military advisers and civilian putzes.
Now we have Jeh Johnson. He sounds like a football player who played too many games without a helmet.
And he’s one of the top security people in America? We’re fucking doomed.

Affirmative action, just like soetoro. Just sayin’.
AQ is like a hydra....cut off one head, two more retrograde heads pop out somewhere else....
The only way to kill AQ is by destroying the funding....via petro dollars...
Our muslim in chief has no intention of doing that by making america as energy independent as possible...
Remember who he stands with...when ill winds blow..
The Egyptian military fights al Qaeda FOR THE PEOPLE.
The US Pentagon was bombed by al Qaeda and now
obeys THEM against the American people.
This cannot end well in the absence of an impeachment.
The key words are ‘core Al Qaeda’. These Obama administration talking point weasel words were destroyed by Bill Roggio and Tom Joscelyn on a recent John Batchelor show. It matters little, they argued, if many of the original AQ leaders are dead when there are many ‘affiliate’ groups with the same means and intent. Typical Clintonian b*llsh!t from Mr. Johnson.
