Mark is on the right (correct) side and he deserves to be supported. Can someone please inform the author that he does not know how to write?
James Delingpole is also on the right side of this issue. I chose the excerpt to highlight how Mann as enriched himself in money, position, power and status with his bogus science.
If you read the full editorial you would see this.
I had a similar problem when I was in school. Hell of a time trying to get something started, but when I got a report going, I had to end it abruptly because I had a lot in my head I wanted to write down, but I’d take up far too much paper and time. Maybe the author should sit down with someone more experienced and ask for tips.
Your post is confusing. He does say to support Mark.
Excuse me, it’s early and I haven’’t had my coffee yet and may well just be thud-headed. But what do you mean by saying that Delingpole does not know how to write?
Can someone please inform the author that he does not know how to write?

On what grounds? The writer is informing a conservative UK readership about Mark Steyn’s situation v. Michael Mann. I found the explanation very clear.
I believe the problem is that you don't know how to read.
