If there are no jobs to be had in this country, how is it that illegal aliens keep crossing our borders to find work, and they find it?
Are these illegal aliens taking jobs that unemployed Americans need? If these jobs weren’t filled by illegal aliens, would unemployed Americans take them?
No, unemployed Americans won’t take these low paying jobs as long as unemployment benefits pay them more to stay home than they can make at these jobs.
If our borders were sealed and all illegal aliens were sent home, would employers be forced to pay Americans wages that would be competitive with unemployment benefits in order to fill these jobs currently held by illegals?
No, this isn’t going to happen because we’re told it’s impossible to seal our borders, and sending illegals home would adversely affect the Hispanic vote in this country.
I’d like to see if we could test your theory; figure out how to get rid of illegals and then see how many American clamor for the jobs.
