Who could possibly vote for Cornyn in the primary?
Do they allow Dems to vote in the Republican primary in Texas? (That is the only way Cornyn could win it.)
Yes, a Democrat can vote in a Republican primary in TX, but if he does: (1) He cannot vote in the companion Democrat primary or Democrat runoff, (2) He officially remains a Republican for a two-year period; cannot change registration until next primary in March 2016.
Cornball has probably 65 percent in the bag right now thanks to establishment Republican voters and those who simply oval in familiar names.
Cornyn is one of the most conservative* senators ever.
Either that, or it’s primary season in Texas and only Cornyn has the funds to put out that message.
*EVERY politician in Texas is a conservative during primary season.
