North Carolina NAACP President William Barber leads Moral March on Raleigh (80,000 libs)
ABC11 ^ | 2-9-14 | ABC11

Posted on 02/10/2014 1:12:42 PM PST by tcrlaf

North Carolina NAACP President William Barber led a massive group Saturday morning through downtown Raleigh in the "Historic Thousands on Jones Street," now turned "Moral March on Raleigh."

It was part of their continuing fight against the Republican led legislature.

The march follows the 13 Moral Mondays seen in Raleigh over the summer, and then several more that followed throughout the state. Now it is back, fusing with the annual "HK on J" march. (SNIP)

Organizers of the march made five demands:

• Secure pro-labor, anti-poverty policies that insure economic sustainability.

• Provide well-funded, quality public education for all.

• Promote health care for all, including affordable access, the expansion of Medicaid,

women's health and environmental justice in every community.

• Address the continuing disparities in the criminal justice system on the basis of race and class.

• Defend and expand voting rights, women's rights, immigrants' rights, LGBT rights and the fundamental principle of equality under the law for all people.

The march brought together a diverse group from Baptists to Muslims and gay marriage supporters to teachers and environmentalists to speak out on what Barber calls "extremism that takes us down the road to destruction."

What can you really say?? The USAToday headline was "80,000 march in Raleigh against GOP policies"

They get 80-100,000 people to take to the streets, not even knowing what the hell they are supposed to be protesting, and we whine endlessly on a website. Who do you think is going to control the agenda, in the end?

They call it the "Moral March Rallies in Raleigh to Transform North Carolina".

These are SEIU/OFA/NAACP organized events, pimped by minority radio, complete with free bus rides to the "Event".

From UselessToday: Organizers of the march made five demands:

I know somebody who participated in this stupid march. She told me she was going to a march in NC this weekend. We had a short discussion when she told me how these old people were going to sleep in a church so they could march and how much good they had down for this country. I told her that it all depended on your definition of “good”.

Saw her today and she didn’t say anything about 80,000 people but I didn’t ask.

You would think someone in this bunch of 80-100,000 people would have the stones to ask why the “Over 100 Social Justice organizations” involved all have the same FIVE basic funding sources, but you are no longer allowed to that in America, are you?

“What would the naacp possibly know about morals?”

The NAACP’s Overseer’s job is to keep the slaves on the Democrat Plantation, nothing more.

MLK would be rolling in his grave if he saw them today.

Unfortunately, I live in looney tune land and they just pat each other on the back and tell each other how great they are. I hate it here. Need to get out before I die.

They all have too much money and not enough sense.

Moral March on Raleigh

Does this mean stop having children out of wedlock, taking care of the children you have, stop selling dope, pull your pants up, go to work and etc.

Translation....

• Secure pro-labor, anti-poverty policies that insure economic sustainability. Unions to control all business functions with huge salaries, benefits and pensions to drive private business into the ground (see UAW)

• Provide well-funded, quality public education for all. Arne Duncan, Common Core, Unions preaching more redistribution and tax-hungry teachers unions lapping up the largesse.

• Promote health care for all, including affordable access, the expansion of Medicaid...ObamaCare sucks and everyone knows it. This is Bammy’s biggest accomplishment (failure) its omission is very telling.

women’s health and environmental justice in every community. Abortion and global warming, cornerstones of the Bolshevik plans.

• Address the continuing disparities in the criminal justice system on the basis of race and class. Give minorities a break when the kill, maim, steal or rape, it’s because they are oppressed, not because they commit crime at astounding rates.

• Defend and expand voting rights, women’s rights, immigrants’ rights, LGBT rights and the fundamental principle of equality under the law for all people.

Vote fraud, wage adjustment for gender, Amnesty, Gay marriage and other Lefty goals for a permanent secular Communist regime.

No thanks, Libtards, even though the 5,000 will be 500,000 and the TEA Party rallies are 500,000 and you call them 5,000.

I demand that all of those black dudes stop making babies and then running away.

I demand black kids actually learn.

I demand that back thugs stop living the life of criminals as a fashion statement.

But I guess advocating for freebies and more government control like little b*tches is what is more important.

“Earl Butz is having a good chuckle.”

Ooooooo.....dat’s wacist!

All I will say further is that in 1976 when I heard what Sec. Butz said, it was about 45 degrees inside my cinderblock `apartment’ & as I stood shivering in the tiny bathroom I thought, “I could use one of those myself”.

;^)

Rush radio here in Raleigh said this morning that there was probably 20,000 maybe 30,000 marchers...Not the 80 to 100,000 that was reported....

Even if there were 30,000; if a wandering meteorite or tiny black hole were to suddenly touch the earth exactly where they were at it would wipe out at least 90,000 democrat votes (since they all vote at least 3 times apiece).

These protests are supposed to be about the decisions and policies of the recently elected Republican Governor Pat McCrory...

Why then, did the NAACP have to bus in protesters from surrounding states????

The answer is because McCrory’s policies are accepted by the majority of North Carolinians.......

Environmental justice is code for draconian, economy killing laws based on the Socialist hoax called Climate Change when it’s cold and Global Warming when it’s warm.

I knew one wanna be thug a while back. He told me, not making this up, the cops “all be racists up in (city) for hassling mys peopes.” Always complained how all his fringes had frequent run ins with the law, etc. Last I knew he was in the grey bar, serving time as a result of a domestic violence incident, fleeing and assault on a police officer.

But I am supposed to believe these wanna be rapper types are supposed to be peaceful and non-violent like they clam they are. Their is a valid reason most people treat them like violent criminals.
