Holders corruption is a negative for being on the Court.

Trading him for Ginsburg is a wash tho. Assuming she’s going to leave before Obamas term is out.

However, there’s a really big positive in getting to watch Scalia, Alito and Thomas (esp Thomas) kick his a&& all over the place in decisions.

My fear is that Scalia and/or Kennedy will die before there’s a Republican in the White House again (actually this is quite likely). At that point it truly is “Game Over.”

if the satanic grifter leaves, its only to escape a pub house and senate (God willing)..and to accept some cushy million dollar job elsewhere...maybe he'll be Hitlery's running mate....

why Jesus....why do the bad people gain in this world and the good people suffer?....

The scary part is its going to happen FAST.
Probably this summer before 2014 elections.

This is why Dems are trying to prop up GOP Senators in danger of being Primary-ed.
Reid has setup agreements with them if Dems help them, they need to support Holder for Supreme Court.

I thought about that angle also. Don’t see why he couldn’t stay as AG and be nominated to SCOTUS, he wouldn’t miss a paycheck that way and would be proud of scamming the system.

This is a setup.
He resigns, Ginsberg retires, Obama puts Holder on the Supreme Court.
60 votes no longer needed to approve.

You're wrong.

On Thursday, the Senate voted 52-48 to abolish the filibuster for nominations to all federal offices except the Supreme Court.

Another rat deserting a sinking ship----11 Dem legislators recently announced retirement.

HIS CRIMES ARE LEGION Chipping away at US exceptionalism---our sacrosanct rule of law----is a task Obama and Holder relish

As Clinton-era Asst US atty, Holder was the Clintons' errand boy---he arrogantly ignored US protocols and failed to inform L/E that tax cheat Mark Rich----- who had absconded and renounced his US citizenship----- was getting pardoned.

Senate candidate Hillary needed blocs of hyphenate votes....so Bill wielded the midnight pardon pen....latino FALN terrorists, upstate Orthodox crooks who looted Pell grants, and Mark Rich, all got pardoned.

Holder's arrogant, self-serving politicization of the US justice system emerged when Obama gave him the top job.

I hope you are right but I still don’t trust the Senate.
Reid is a very dangerous politician and will do anything to stay in power.

By not being in office when Obama’s term ends, Obama can pardon him and prevent prosecution by the next administration.

IMHO, he is stepping down 2+ years ahead of the end of the Obama administration. 1) if he is charged with a crime subsequent to him leaving, he gets pardoned. If not, the statute of limitations will protect him from being prosecuted.

If there were anyone with guts in the House they’d impeach this...criminal, which is putting it mildly.

But, there aren’t. So, We the People becomes but an ever sadder joke, as the now lower case ‘we’ are just screwed again.

That was the vote and that was the Nuclear Option Reid exercised that day.

It excluded SCOTUS.

Reid and the demonic-rats can come back with another, but for now, this one stands.

It’s not helpful to spread incorrect information.

The GOP-e, led by McConnell are worse than wimps.

Election 2014 had better be the Start of a HUGE PURGE!
