protests against Russia's law banning homosexual "propaganda" aimed at minors aren't worth it because "no one cares."

Is it just me? Or does anybody else not think that influencing minors to have gay sex should be banned, not only in Russia, but anywhere else?

It’s not just you.

Interesting how the usual suspects have conflated a law against homosexual propaganda aimed at minors (a very narrow set of proscribed behaviours), and “anti-gay law” (which suggests something much more extensive and draconian). Interesting, but not surprising; given how experienced these usual suspects are at propagating propaganda on these matters.

It's obvious beyond words to anyone who dwells in the real world. We've sunk so far. Influencing minors to have any kind of sex at all should be banned.

No one cares... Hmm. He says that like it’s a bad thing.

Actually, in another example of Americans’ total dependence on the media and culture for their educational and information needs, it is extremely detrimental, in fact, to teach sexuality to anyone under the age of puberty. it is one reason parents used to maintain surveillance on their kids’ companions.

It is most detrimental to a child’s sexual health, and permanently so, to expose them to perverse sex practices.

It is abusive.

Putin happens to be correct.

Parents must actually, in order to raise healthy children, keep them away from private use of the internet until puberty.

Is that possible?

Not if parents refuse to raise their children.

Parents who actually raise their children, do prevent them from exposure. They have a common room internet access, they keep an eye on the kids’ teachers, (taking them out of public school is practically the only way), not going to nor having in the house r rated for sex movies, commercials, PPV and the like, consorting with nice friends whose children have at least minimal exposure, at least a desire to prevent access to pornography (a lot of people are unaware through trusting too much), and the biggest one, no social media nor data plans on devices until they are well on their way to forging a path to, and taking an interest in, their future, focusing on academics, hanging around with future and goal oriented friends, maybe telling them they’re going to be responsible for college costs. that gets them paying attention to the right things quick.

dont’ dream of bringing them to an MD who has private time with them. any MD who answers the question, ‘when does a girl get a full exam’, with anything other that, ‘after she’s married, there’s no risk factor’, is off the list.

And the kicker: Not treating them like they’re anything but good. reduce the mystery, answer all questions, they’ll ask when they’re ready, and they’ll find out plenty from friends and creepy associates.

And definitely no sterilization. If all the kids are watching a particular movie because it’s funny, then ok, when they’re old enough.

21 Jump street is perfectly awful, but when they’re older, and they don’t want to feel like a freak, what the heck? and it is hilarious, but Jonah Hill can be GROSS, ditto the elf guy, but with a fast forward, the other guys is very funny. and just not keeping only those boring narrative Christian movies around. Legally Blonde has gross parts but the theme is important.

But for authorities to teach about sex and perverted sex, is pure child abuse, Yes. And I have qualifications in child development.

From what I remember about the USSR. Playboy and Penthouse weren’t allowed either.

You are not alone.

Encouraging minors to have gay sex should be banned. Anyone convicted of doing this should be labeled a sex offender.
