This is an idea whose time has come. I wonder which country will be next. My guess - the Dutch or the Italians.

I listened to one of the CNBC Europe reporters this morning asking if this was the “right” way to implement democracy, “putting preferences before people.”| Typical lefty reaction when the popular vote doesn’t go their way. Also, the putting preferences before people sounds like an emotional talking point. Also, it looks like the EU is going to squeeze the Swiss to try and change their mind or to get the Swiss government into defining the vote away.
Was this only on EU immigrants?
That is probably why it was so close and not a landslide.
