One explanation for the withdrawal of immigration reform was that 'Obama doesn’t enforce the laws anyway,' why enact them?.

Good catch Fish. That is Boehner's explanation to a two day volley of machine gun fire from Rush on his show.(with info he got from us?) Seems Boehner had a change of heart about his immigration reform legislation that is all ready to go in several forms.Coincidentally, right after Rush lit a huge bonfire under his ass!

It went something like this.

Limbaugh conjectured that Boehner was trying for a smaller victory later this year than was possible. Rush's theory was that Boehner would go ahead and sign on to a mediocre immigration bill (that would immediately be EO'ed to death by the regime)that would piss us off and effect the elections.

In the end Boehner still expected a small victory for our side even though we were severely pissed off that he did immigration legislation knowing few on our side wanted it.

Seems Rush spoiled J/Boehner's scheme by exposing his plans. Anyway right after Rush's explanation which he did on two successive days Boehner suddenly had a change of heart stating that; "you just cant trust zero even if legislation was passed."What a revelation!

Also coincidentally was the factoid that at least a few House members or future House members were alerted to the potential that no matter what legislation they passed on immigration,no matter how weak, the regime would undoubtedly EO it to death until they got amnesty. Which no on our side will vote for unless they are totally suicidal.

Possibly one more reason Boehner decided not to do any immigration reform before the elections. He's not suicidal either! Trouble is you can't count on him to keep his word. Everything changes with the wind with these RINO/GOPers.

After the SOTU the Republicans met for a retreat on the Eastern Shore of MD. Boehner and the rest of the ‘leadership’ heard from the ‘rank and file’ Representatives. I don’t think that Rush is responsible for the change in plans re immigration reform. It was those men and women elected by TEA party conservatives who convinced Boehner to say what he said about Obama.

Of course any victory, no matter how small, for the real conservatives will not be reported in the press.

I have little use for Boehner and feel he should be replaced as Speaker ASAP.

But I’ve got to admit his, “We can’t pass immigration because we’re not sure nobama would enforce it,” is brilliant.

nobama has been a real ass, puffed up and blowing hot air about how all powerful he is. Boehner got his number and took him down. Cool.
