I can only imagine the economic boom that would result from this new state actually becoming reality. The State of Jefferson would be a wonderful event in the history of America ...and I could move back to be closer to my grandsons.

The website says Sutter and Yuba counties. BUt the pole barn along I-5 is way up north. What the proposed boundaries?

I’m waiting for the state of Sierra Republic that takes in all the CA counties not in contact with the liberally salty waters of the Pacific Ocean!!!

The counties north of Marin aren’t so bad, are they?

The boundaries are yet to be defined. Roughly from the Oregon border to just north of Sacramento with some coastline north of Eureka and east to Nevada.

Everything is in flux.

We need to have some coastline. It would be nice if we could extend down to Monterey where they at least get a little sunshine once in a while but that is unlikely.

Ft. Bragg, Mendocino and Eureka are probably all two Leftist to go along. Any further north than that and it's almost always cloudy.

Flame away North Coast FReepers. I can take it.

My son and his family live in Placer Co. and there is nothing I’d like more than to move close to my grand sons. But, that will never happen in liberal controlled California as it currently exists.

If you move to Placer County, don't forget the story of Abraham, Lot and especially Lot's wife! Don't look back upon Oakland and San Franpsycho (Sodom and Gomorah) lest you turn to a pillar of salt!!!

You don't believe it? Just check out all the Satanic Cultists running the UN founded in San Fransideshow. I wish I were kidding...

"Everything is in flux."

You all gotta rethink the southern boundry..Sacramento though the capitol, is unique in their delta (Delta City), the confluence of the American & Sacramento Rivers (River City). And don’t forget Rush’s favorite, Rio Linda! The military bases in the area were/are plentiful. I believe Sacramento can be & should be ‘saved’. It will not survive & be swallowed alive by the ‘City by the Bay’. Besides I always resented ‘them’ calling it a ‘cow-town’.

I have nothing against Sacramento. I wouldn’t even mind them running all the way down to Bakersfield but Frisco, Oakland, San Jose and all the other places of that ilk, no thanks.

No, sorry. All counties that touch Pacific Ocean sea water must be peeled off of the new conservative "SIERRA REPUBLIC" state. Sacramento county has a sea port, as does San Juaquin county. The boundary must be easily recognizable and consistent!

Long live "SIERRA REPUBLIC!!!" (a really, truly "Golden State" at last)

Thanks to all who attended. The night was a huge success. No sunshine patriots here. The rain could not dampen the atmosphere.

Here's how our local paper covered the event....

Appeal-Democrat: Y-S residents attend State of Jefferson town hall
