Upstate Senator Lee Brights campaign appears to be gaining steam while incumbent Lindsey Graham looks to be in deep trouble according to a recent poll of likely Republican Primary voters in South Carolina.
The big picture results of the survey show that South Carolinians are deeply dissatisfied with Graham, Bright is dominating the crowded field of challengers, and both trends seem to be building.
Only 38% of voters said that Graham deserves to be re-elected, while 49% said its time for someone new. That someone would appear to be Bright, who polled more than Nancy Mace, Bill Connor and Richard Cash combined, with over 17%.

We are very excited about this news, but I cant say that were surprised, said Senator Bright in regards to the recent poll conducted by Wenzel Strategies.
Weve dominated the straw polls throughout the state, and weve earned some very prominent endorsements, including the endorsements we crave the most those of South Carolinas conservatives.
Meanwhile, Lindsey Graham continues to do little or nothing to stop the Obama-Reid-Schumer-Pelosi agenda and thats an agenda that South Carolinians want stopped.
Bright went on to say that for a wealthy long-time incumbent, who seems to be on cable news all day everyday, to be below 40% this early in the process is stunning. Its not like Lindsey Graham can do anything to improve his standing. We know who he is now.
Bright added of Grahams numbers, his lowest polls ever, that voters understand that hes a creature of Washington, and that the swamp needs to be drained of Big Government apologists in both parties.
With the help of conservatives and Tea Party activists across South Carolina, were going to retire him in the Spring.
I have every intention of joining Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul to put the brakes on this ever-expanding government not compromising with Barack Obama as Lindsey Graham has done.
Numbers dont lie. Politicians can brag about money all they want. And I can promise you well be right with them in the end. But they count votes at the ballot box, not dollars. And polls show its my campaign that has what it takes to defeat Lindsey Graham.
If we can take him down and McConnell, it’s going to light a fire under A LOT of RINO’s asses!!
Who is running in Alaska? Louisiana?
If we can't git'er done this time, I'm running out of time.
Poor Linda, she’ll come down with the vapors sure enough over this news. B^)
Good point. We DO gotta get her done. I don’t think it will happen in enough cases. 9 months to go.
Good. “Continue to tank” is more like “still swirling around in the flushed toilet bowl”.
We’ll get some done, and we’ll miss on a few .but taking out an incumbent sends a massive quake across the land ..we don’t have to bat a thousand to make big difference.
Just think back in October of 2010 we wouldn’t be dreaming of this kind of record against the DC incumbent class ..
LG in deep do do ping ..

Isn't she just the sweetest thing?
Oh what a glorious day it would be if both McConnell anf Graham lost their seats. It would send a clear message. If they can just keep the voting honest nd Team Obama from skewing or manipulating the votes...
He mentions Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul, but this list needs to be expanded on. Most senators, bad and good, tend to be a quiet bunch, but at the same time they are “reliable”, either as RINOs or as conservatives.
But it is important that the quiet conservatives be seen as either aligned with the big three, or opposed to them, because eventually they will grow beyond a group, to become a “bloc”.
Mon O man C. Edmund,
If just a few of these maggot good old boys and girls get taken down then the rest have got to sit up and take notice.
Hey Lindsey, Buh bye.
True, but I'm still running on fumes, and father time won't wait too much longer.
The question, South Carolinians, is who do you want to represent you in the U.S. Senate ... a gOpE McQueeg/McConnell (Graham) or a Cruz (Bright)?
