It’s on the conservatives in that state. We will find out is it’s serious (national) or just a lot of noise.
Osborne seems to be the state GOP elite’s pick which immediately makes him suspect. He kind of stays in the shadows when there is no campaign going on. He plays heavily at times on the fact that he was the AC of the Navy spy plane that was harrassed and bumped by the ChiComs a number of years back. He laned the plane on a Chinese island, was held with his crew for a short period of time and then released. To his credit, he doesn’t make himself out to be a hero although others do. While I admire his actions at the time there was nothing definitively heroic about any of it. Osborne seems nice enough although I don’t see him as a Tea Party advocate so Sasse seems to be the better choice.
He sounds good until the McC connection comes up.
