We are so doomed.
But now there is a movement afoot not to deny that fact, but to obscure it, to insulate children from it so as to create the impression that everyone is special.
The people of this movement want moral authority. When they assert stupidities such as ‘merit is bad’ and then society caves on the point and everyone fearfully salutes the lie they gain more than just the point; THEY BECOME AUTHORITY.
We are 40 years down the line on this so I’m not quite sure WTF everyone is suddenly concerned about. The time to point and laugh is long past.
