Even with a new battery mine wouldn’t keep the correct time. After almost missing posting time twice I said I must get a new one. I’m happy that I could get one almost the same.

Good morning Galz ((HUGS))
Excuse me, but I just have to say it...smartphones have excellent time...even World time (so I know what time it is in AZ and AK - like right now at 6:43 ECT, it is 2:43 in AK (and Ma should be asleep) hehe

SOUP FOR THE TROOPS

WELCOME TO THE

(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities
Always enjoy seeing our guyz/galz at work and play!

Making Z Zoup
A cup of this...a teaspoon of that...

President Taft weighed 352 pounds.

The highest point in Pennsylvania is lower than
the lowest point in Colorado.

The U.S. Mint was authorized to produce
one-cent copper coins on April 2, 1792.
Originally, there were four designs struck:
the "chain" cent, the "wreathed" cent,
the "flowing hair" cent, and the "liberty" cent.

Th exuberant film dance team of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers
was on the Box Office Top Ten List three times.
Some critics feel that their Top Hat and Swing Time are
the two best film musicals Hollywood ever produced.
Astaire and Rogers' films are among the brightest musicals
that MGM released during the 1930s.
The duo made ten films together.

"Hot cockles" was a popular game
at Christmas in medieval times.
It was a game in which the other players
took turns striking the blindfolded player,
who had to guess the name of the person delivering each blow.
"Hot cockles" was still a Christmas pastime
until the Victorian era.

The FR Canteen is ALWAYS

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

Good morning Meg ((HUGS)) I noticed when I saw the weather report this morning, most of the country is in the "frigid" zone (I call it).

Good morning to everyone at the Canteen. 28º at the house with some places as low as 24. A few reports of some icy roads in the area.
