Not only will Obamacare kill off over 2.3 million jobs but it will reduce wages, too!
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Director Douglas Elmendorf told a Congressional committee today that Obamacare will reduce workers wages.
“We expect as other analysts believe that over time costs that employers bare for their employees end up being borne by the employee in the form of lower wages.”

This is by design. Lower the American standard of living to match the rest of the world's incomes.
As B. Hussein Obama has said many, many times over his First Five Year Plan: “My number one priority is jobs, Jobs, JOBS!”
Some people don’t quite grasp that...Of course those in government don’t give a damn as most of them still have those great lottery style government wages, benefits and pensions...
I was about ready to post in a related thread when I noticed this one. The CBO Director has substantiated my concern, expressed in first paragraph below, that Democrats have unthinkingly destroyed their “raise the minimum wage” vote-getting card by ramming constitutionally indefensible Obamacare down people’s throats.

Before I remind folks about Congress’s limited powers to regulate minimum wage for certain groups of workers, please consider the following. I think that pulling the minimum wage card to save their reputation with low-information voters shows that Democrats and RINOs are so out of touch with reality that they do not understand the following. The constitutionally indefensible Democratic Obamacare tax tsunami is going to wipe out any tangible benefits, imo, that workers have historically gotten from a higher minimum wage.
As mentioned in related threads, Congress can raise the minimum wage of federal workers because such jobs fall under the places indicated in the Constitution’s Clauses 16 & 17 of Section 8 of Article I, such places under the exclusive legislative control of Congress.
However, regardless that liberals are reluctantly admitting that minimum rage hike is only for federal employees, wrongly implying that feds can also legally raise national minimum wage if they wanted to, please bear the following mind.
The states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate a national minimum wage, such promises by federal politicians good for winning votes from low-information voters who are clueless about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.
Also, Constitution-ignoring Obama is in a power struggle with corrupt Congress, Obama and Congress actually fighing for control of popularly perceived, but actually constitutionally nonexistent federal powers. And given that the Supreme Court has historically clarified that constitutionally undefined executive orders do not have the force of law unless legislatively supported by Congress, Obama is just politicking, imo, with respect to “promising” higher minimum wage for federal employees This is because he cannot legally raise minimum wage for federal employees without Congress’s support, regardless of executive orders. And since Obama keeps fighting with Congress, I question if he is going to get the needed support to raise federal minimum wage.

My medical care has been from the US government since I was born (Military then Veterans Affairs) so I have already lived through what the rest of you will now experience.
I do believe that their ultimate goal all along was and is to get 50+ percent of the population dependent on them so they will never lose another election. That is the whole drive for amnesty for the illegals. If they were projected to vote republican, they would all have been deported by now and our southern border would look like the Berlin Wall.
The government is playing the drug dealer - giving a lot of "free stuff" until the time when it has enough control to start holding back on it and leaving itself in full control with the addicts just getting enough to subsist on. They think the gravy boat will never run empty, but they don't realize that Uncle Sugar will dam it to a trickle once the objective is met.
He ignores the most important variable. That is the inflation multiplier that will be applied pretty much across the board that will inflate wages to pay for Obamacare.
If the inflation is not painless, it will occur in such a manner that what is really happening is not discernible.
Once the inflation begins, it will be applied to the present non elastic pricing a well.
Obamacare will get lost in the shuffle

While at the same time corrupt biggov aided and abetted and rolled out the red carpet for of millions of low wage illegals...So many it’s undermined and compromised our electoral process.
Did anyone think this would end well for the American lower and middle class?
For years now American wages and full time jobs have been stagnant and nose diving as they’re now forced to compete with millions of these criminals who ignored our rules and broke our laws...Many now compete for part time 9 dollar an hour jobs with no benefits....Millions of others just gave up and went on biggov handouts.
None of this was a mistake...
