Yeah, “provider” is a nice fudge word that hospitals and insurers can use to dazzle the patients. I went to Medical School, NOT “Provider” school.
"Provider" is a favorite PC word for the Medicare and Medicaid government bureaucracies. (CMS?) It's used to downgrade the public perception of the highly skilled professionals who provide medical care, which in turn helps in justifying inadequate payments to their slaves.
