Steffie knows an impeachment charge would go nowhere in Reid’s Senate. IIRC, impeachment requires 67 votes. It wouldn’t even get 100% of the Republicans in the Senate.

I have posted many times recently that, if The One ever gets impeached, it will be led by Democrats, not Republicans.

I absolutely believe Stephanopolous and cohorts talked about this on the phone many times. They knew that Clinton’s popularity numbers went UP during impeachment, and the media was able to spin it as all about sex and those greedy, puritanical Republicans wanting to just “get” Bill Clinton because they’re partisan bastards and hypocrite fundamentalists.

So they “hope” the Republicans take the bait, imagining how they could spin it as racist, too.

I’m sure they chuckle and high-five whenever they get together about Georgie’s birth control question to Mitt Romney and fervently hope they can start something again.

NEVER answer a Stephanopolous question without first thinking about just what he’s up to and what conversations he’s had with his friends.

Frankly, if I was a conservative Republican I would NEVER go on ABCCBSNBC, but that’s just me. Some think there is no such thing as bad publicity, but I wonder about that. Someone needs to starve the snake.

The House would impeach Obama. The Senate would not convict and throw him out, but so what? If the House can show valid Constitutional power violations, then level the charges and impeach. Put it on record.

Valid Constitutional violations, by definition, cannot be spun by the media into something else (such as Clinton’s “all about sex”). They also can’t be seen as technicalities - they need to show damage done.

The problem is the Boehner’s lack of courage to protect, and/or interest in, the Constitution.

I understand all those parameters and the political landscape, but really what better way to get the public to pay attention to clown's CRIMES against the nation? Too many in the public only get their information from the Obama media at 6pm on ABCCBSNBCCNNPBSNPR.

The Senate would not remove the "LIAR UNDER OATH" Bubba Klintoon either even though they had him dead to rights!! All the nation watched. Some like to say the GOP lost badly after that impeachment - I beg to differ. Klintoon was impeached on December 19, 1998, and the next election GWB won the WH even after all the shenanigans that took place in FL. Look at the 2000 US House election results.

 Results for 1998 2000 +/-
Republican Party 223 221 -2
Democratic Party 211 212 +1
Independent 1 2 +1
Although the GOP Lost two seats (RATS only picking up one) the GOP kept control of the House by a comfortable margin.

Do your Constitutionally mandated job US House, and stop worrying about how things will "LOOK" politically to the RATS. We all know the RAT run Senate will NOT do it's job - that has been evident with the way RAT REID runs the Senate with an iron fist.

And no, electing more REPUBLICANS to the Congress is NOT the answer. Conservatives must take over the existing party OR start their own "2nd Party" and relegate the current GOP-e party to 3rd party status.
