Hey Bud. Good to see you.
Two successful recalls were kind of exciting, but the fact that the laws were still on the books tempered that. If those laws go away, now that would be the real victory.
BTW, we moved to Southpark. Tough real estate deal but we got a bargain from FreddieMac!
Good.
I am proud of our brothers in CO.
We need to treat these socialists just like a tree, grind them down to until the stump is below the ground.
Try elk hunting when you live in Ohio. can you say “next to impossible”? I’m liking the four corners region personally as this puts one in close to proximity to all kinds of good hunting and long range shooting opportunities. There’s basically no place around here to stretch out a high powered rifle. Hunting of any kind in Ohio is kind of a joke. I’ll find my west eventually.
And salt or burn the stump.
PING.
It seems like I heard that somewhere once before.....
That sounds delightful in theory - but how do you explain the fact that someone like Wendy Davis could ever get the impression for a microsecond that she could win a Governor’s seat? I mean, hopefully what you are saying is true and Ms Davis is just completely mentally ill.
Doesn't mean that they have a chance in hell of winning.
I think Windy (spelling on purpose) is thinking about a national stage, and the $$s that will be coming to her campaign.
Even losers in a political race rake in the $$s.
You need to go on meds or something. I'm going to start calling you Debbi Downer. As long as life exists, hope exists.
Don't give up until AFTER they have kilt you.

Thanks, Graewoulf!
Also consider here in south-eastern WA state. Very different from west of the Cascades culturally, climate-wise, and about every other sense. High power range, elk and all that.

Well considering that your posts often suggest that we will all be forced to become complete Amish soon, I gotta say, following yours posts and posts of similar Freepers, if anything, often aid in increasing one’s suicidal depression. Especially considering that many of us, on top of everything we are stuck fighting with, are simply not in a position where they could ever be able to turn Amish on short notice of any kind. About 90 % of Americans a re in a situation where that is just not possible.
Liberalism (current use of term) is a Mental Disorder
Had never heard of that statue.
Thanks for explaining it.
JRandomFreeper is not rare at all. Many here in Texas are capable of being totally self sufficient. Not that I think it makes sense under current conditions. But none of us can predict the future.
Should we have a global financial collapse, Texas could go it on it’s own. And many of the citizens are capable of picking up the pieces and surviving.
I assure you my ancestors understood this well. There are still oral traditions not in history books that are remembered from those times.
Every year many in the South & West eat dried blackeyed peas and greens for good luck. And to never forget those times when that was all that was left for our ancestors to eat.
If these bills get killed in committee, there should be recall petitions filed against every single Democratic member of the given chamber’s committee simultaneously. Show them that voting to restrict Constitutional rights is not actually in their best interests politically.
The Four Corners area might be the best choice in Colorado—maybe fewer busybody NIMBYs, fewer regulations, and less ice and snow than on the central Range.
