If women were truly only paid 77 cents on the dollar compared to men, then every business would hire nothing but women with perhaps 1 token man to fend off accusations of discrimination. Do you remember the end of the movie, “The Man Who Would Be King”, with Sean Connery & Michael Caine? Slightly different than the book, but Peachy, half crazed, scared and clutching a medium sized bag, showed up at Kipling’s office to recount the tale of his adventures since they last met.
At the end of the meeting, he showed Kipling the contents of the sack; the dessicated head of Danny (The Man Who Would Be King) with a small gold crown still attached.
