I hope the family sues and sues and sues.....cops are hired by WE THE PEOPLE....they are our servants.....they do OUR bidding....and yet they can go to the wrong house and kill a guy for protecting his own home....

The military is for fighting enemies of the State.
The police are for protecting and serving the people.
When the police become militarized, the people become enemies of the State.
They better win. Texas is a 'loser pays' state. And even if they win, tort reform caps their payout.
