Eli will have more SBs than Peyton.

“I’m done discussing this with you”.

Nothing to discuss. Brady’s numbers speak for themselves. In your world if you ever lose a Super Bowl you can never be considered great. So Manning even if he wins another will never be as good as Saint Joe. Drew Brees has better numbers than Joe Montana, playing in fewer years. But Drew Brees didn’t have Jerry Rice to throw to. Seattle’s defense would have did the exact same thing to Joe Montana. Ate him up like Pacman.

“Nothing to discuss.”

Correct. I’m right, you’re wrong. Bye-bye.

I didn't know Brees went 4-0 in the Super Bowl...

What years did he win? I remember 2009 but when did he win the other 3 (or more)?

And that is exactly why the Cowboys have been stuck at mediocre for years. Until he realizes how wrong he was then (and still is), mediocrity will continue.

For the sake of my family, I want the Cowboys to do well. However, the message every Cowboys fan should take from the NFC Championship game and the Super Bowl is: we're screwed. They aren't even in the same universe as the Seahawks, 49ers, Saints, Panthers, or the Eagles.

The Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams are on the upswing, too.

I missed both Budweiser commercials when they aired last night. I thought they were both great...the homecoming ad and the puppy ad. I’m a sucker for puppies.

I could see the last place team in the NFC West next season, having at least 10 wins.

My hypothetical is, what if you have a Division, where no team loses a game outside of the Division, and each one splits their divisional games, so they wind up with identical 13-3 records. One of those teams is going to get left out of the playoffs.

I don’t think it will ever happen, but if it did, it could be in the NFC West.

One could certainly see a revolving door in the NFC West, depending on the previous year's standings. St. Louis gets to play a "last place" schedule, while the Seahawks play the "first place" schedule next year.

It's hard to maintain the intensity Seattle displayed, and they'll get everybody's best shot next year.

This is how bad it was: DH left to go to TARGET at half-time!!

He said the game was over when the safety happened in the first few seconds of the game - turns out he was right. What a massacre!!

Said he was disgusted with the Broncos AND hated all the ads.

Ditto for me and I am not the rabid football fan, LOL.

Very true, and while Wilson is remarkably poised for a second year QB, he needs to continue to develop, because eventually, they will need him to be an elite QB to win. Not saying he won’t be, but he had a lot of help this season.

Double check what? That Martin is in hell? You’d have to ask to God to be sure. ;)

BTW it was great to see Bears CB Charles Tillman win the Walter Payton Man of the year and appear at the SB. I hope the Bears figure out a way to re-sign him, the lousy secondary really tanked when he got hurt.

I actually heard the Seattle owner praise his GM last night.

Wait a Minute....you mean to tell me that the owner and the GM are not the same guy? What kind of lunacy is that?

True, he’s making less now per year than Manning makes per game, and will make mega millions soon, necessitating dumping other talent. Re: Baltimore.

And there was a time when most of those teams were not even close to the Cowboys. My, how the tide has turned!

Surely it’s some sort of new-fangled thinking that will quickly go down the memory hole along with that west-coast offense chicanery.

The thing about the pre-Jones Cowboys was, as an organization, they were top-notch. Tex Schramm arguably is the greatest GM of all time.

Hardly anyone even knew who the owner of the Cowboys was.
