Many FReepers have said to me: "I don't know anything about Linda Vega". Apparently a lot of folks don't want to be bothered with doing a Google Search so I, enthusiastically, present to you the following link re: Linda Vega who is running against John Cornyn in the GOP Primary for the U.S. Senate from Texas. A Conservative Hispanic lady who can win the run-off and the General Election.

Let it be known, that whoever ends up being Cornhole's opponent in the run-off will get my, and my wife's, vote.

Linda Vega is an immigration lawyer but try to get her to say anything forthright about her position on amnesty.

We've had enough with Kay. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Of course; we need more men like John Cornyn, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, Lamar Alexander and Richard Lugar..... If you wouldn't make statements like that, people wouldn't know just how ignorant you really are.

You asked
‘Linda Vega is an immigration lawyer but try to get her to say anything forthright about her position on amnesty.

Did you go to her web site?
She is NOT for amnesty but for reform

anyone who thinks that we can deport them is not living in the real world
Yes we should be able but we haven’t didn’t and now won’t
so we should at least consider any candidate who faces reality and still opposes citizenship for illegals
that is her position
go read it

One more thing fwdude: I suppose you’re backing your MAN, who is my congressman, the drunkard, serial liar, Steve Stockman. If he makes the run-off, he’ll get his a** handed to him; guarantee.

"Reform" is just a nice way to repackage "amnesty."

I want ENFORCEMENT!!!!!! But you never hear that endangered word from any of the pathetic RINO's, do we?

More defeatism.

By the way, “reform” today means “amnesty” tomorrow.

No you don’t
so you can continue to rant about it
knowing there is NO political will in the country to do it
OR you can work to get the best plan that doesn’t give it all away to illegals

Women in politics tend to BE soft or GO soft over time - every time.

We have not had ONE woman supreme court justice who turn out to be, or remained, conservative. Not one.

Women are fundamentally different from men, in ways that matter substantially. If you deny that, you are no different than a Leftist.

What would you do
that has any chance of happening?

we can stay angry and demand what is right ( which it IS right) OR we can try to minimize what the illegals get

Being angry does nothing

Just like Rubio, reform. You see how well that one worked out. This whole amnesty thing is driven primarily by immigration attorneys so they can capitalize on all the new clients.

We don’t need no stinkin’ reform, just enforce the existing laws, period.

Implying that you're agreeing to give some of it away to illegals?

YES!!! it would wonderful if we enforced the existing laws
BUT THAT ISNT GOING TO HAPPEN

so instead of bemoaning what will never happen now
what would you do>
realistically knowing the laws will not be enforced
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Mama always said “Assumption is the mother of all ‘foul’ ups”.

What makes you think I’m “angry”? Because I don’t think that Republicans should be the “half way” party so that the journey to a progressive state is slowed moderately?
