Wow, letting noisy active little boys be noisy active little boys instead of making them into quiet little girls actually is a good thing! Who’d thunk it. how about those folks with common sense.

It’s not just little boys.

When my daughter was in young she loved to climb trees and was into gymnastics which she loved to practice on the school playground but was reprimanded for doing so.

Cartwheels, flips and tumbles were not allowed.
Climbing trees was not allowed.
Certain moves in jump rope were not allowed.
Rocket-shipping from the swings was not allowed (my favorite when I was a kid).

The playground rules list went on and on.

Kids have a lot of energy. They need to have a place and time to expend it.
