Gates stood by and allowed our men and women to fight a war that their own CIC didn’t believe they could win.Out country is bigger that even the CIC.
Gates also said that Obama's one point of passion was for the gays in the military. He has outed Obama if you read between the lines (which is exactly how his book was intended).

My point is “outing” him a year after he was re-elected is a little late as far as I’m concerned. But, of course, now that he has a book out he can join the Fox Book of the Month Club.
