About the "hubby"

Navy officials confirmed he served in the Navy from 1990 to 1997, reaching the rank of petty officer 2nd class. He had a clean record during his time and was last stationed in Jacksonville, Fla.

I'm fairly certain he was no stranger to people of "authority."

type who mouthed off to anyone who came across as an authority figure.

Retired or active, police are not our masters and contrary to popular belief, they don't have the authority to pick fights in movie theaters and murder people.

This bastard tried to cause problems and harassed a woman in the same movie theater just two weeks prior. His "authority" was disrespected. It sounds like the retired cop, that started the area's first SWAT team is a jackboot hothead and is now facing life in prison, which at 71, shouldn't be too long.

I don't go to movie theaters because I can't stand people texting, the floors are sticky, and it seems like a general waste of money......but I'm not going to cause an altercation and escalating it to the point of killing a man and wounding his wife because someone sent a text message during the previews.

I don’t go to movie theaters because they are nothing more than cable TV with a larger screen. Nothing but crap that you have to pay exorbitant prices to watch and in so doing, you support all that liberal trash in Hollywood. Not me.
