This is so exactly right. But moral revival? Not gonna happen. Frankly, I no longer believe the USA has a future, and this is the reason.
The moral decline seems irreversible. Jerry Falwell did what he could to reverse it; so did Jesse Helms. But there is no one much left who even understands the pending doom.
