1. You need to reform the GOP leadership first. Since these folks are chosen by Rovian insiders... Good luck.

2. We’ve had voter ID laws on the ballot the last couple of elections. They are still failing. What good is it if the Dems just skews the votes in their favor? For the States where they do get these laws passed, judges shut ‘em down again.

I’m not suggesting we stop fighting the uphill battle. Just be aware that the guy standing next to you pushing that rock is Sisyphus.

So we start at the local level, then the state, then the national level. Grassroots efforts, across the nation, are the key to retaking the GOP. Get the conservative base organized and energized, and take over from the bottom up. You're right; there's no way to reform the party from the top down. It'll have to be the base rising up to take charge.

Well, of course they're going to fail if we just lay down and let them be violated. Again, it's us, the base, the conservative rabble, that's going to have to quit bitching and make something happen. If liberal judges won't enforce voter fraud laws, we need to get on our legislators and impeachment the black-robed tyrants. We need to lean on our governors, and tell them to lean on those judges and elections officials, and let them know that fraud won't be tolerated. Remember, "we" surround "them"...if we can mobilize and motivate the base, I believe we can do it.

However, I spent long enough in the Army to have learned you always plan for the worst, and work for the best. The worst may very well happen, but that doesn't mean we should just shrug our shoulders, and either turn tail and flee to South America or the Philippines, or play the violin while the Titanic sinks. Even if the wost is a foregone conclusion, we owe it to ourselves and our families to do everything we can to avoid that nightmare.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
