with a long lens...the distance between ...objects or PEOPLE at different distances can be made to appear much closer together
a good LONG telephoto flatten out the optical "space" between a "speaker" and a crowd for example....
FILL the lens and for the viewer to make the assumption that there are as many people present as they "need" tp make them feel a part of something Much Larger.....than themselves.
I made kerrys HEAD much larger than it was in the original photo for this banner....thereby FRAMING his now even LARGER face to make it appear even more OSTENTATIOUS
"news" is now PROMOTION....rather than journalism
