Well, he can only play half a race card. He does have that white blood. He can deny it all he wants, but Mama was white and he is a half and half no matter what he says. He can stand in a garage and call himself a car, but that does not make him a car. So, standing there and calling himself all black does not make him all black. Of course, we all knew at some point this slime ball would play the race card. They all do when the going gets tough.
The thing is, he chooses to identify as black, and the black community in general claims him as their own, so all “credit” for whatever he says and does goes to them.
