A microcosm view: I counted eleven licenses/inspection certificates on the wall of a take-out bagel shop in Boston MA.

America really really needs to bring back AMERICAN industry.

All of our competitors have grown up now.

They are about to start (as if they haven’t already) walloping us around head and foot, with what are in fact our own industry - yet we remain unfocused and losing.

America can thrive. But we must have industry.

You are absolutely right.

Add to the jobs losses the 20% of Americans on Food Stamps:

When you add all of these elements together, it’s chaos and disaster for our country’s future.

Under the “Rule Of Law” heading, America has improved with regard to freedom from corruption, but property rights have declined. Heritage explains that the increasing use of government regulatory agencies to manage economic activity has led to increased perceptions of cronyism and corruption.

Wow, is Heritage totally ignoring the thorough corruption in ACA and Obama acting as dictator, changing the law daily? How can they possibly claim we have "improved" with reared to freedom from corruption? And there is only a PERCEPTION of cronyism and corruption? What rock do these authors live under. There is blatant, obvious, and provable cronyism and corruption top to bottom in the Obama government.

If they took honest stock of the situation, we should probably drop to 15 on the list.
