What? Surely nobody on FR would possibly think that legalizing narcotics is a good thing?

Tortured semantics is just some more of the collateral damage. Technically a narcotic is a drug that induces sleep, but they've turned it into a general perjortive.

The primary proponents of legalizing pot seem to be/appear to be of the Libertarian bent. If pot is not a narcotic, then they want both legalized. Pot and narcotics. Vending machine dope.

This stuff being circulated is a hundred times more potent than back in the hippy days. Narcotics circulated as pot, or circulated as smack, what's the difference if the end result is the same?

Guaranteed in states where this crap is legal, they're going to see a dramatic rise in mental disorders, psychosis, dementia, etc.
