BART PD has been famous in the Bay Area for about 6 or 7 years for being a Troubled Department.

He was probably “resisting’ by asserting he was a BART police officer. He was being ‘uppity.” He probably expected them to stop their attack on him which riled up the cops. One positive - there were no seeing eye dogs on the platform to shoot.
