I fear he is driving out its tax-paying and liberal voting citizens and that they are moving to my state. When they get here they will note how low the taxes are and how much nicer people are to each other then Mr. will turn to Mrs. and say,"You know, Honey, this place is almost perfect! It just needs some more services," and their voting pattern will not change as they fashion a new socialist hellhole from which they or their children will flee.

That's exactly what happens. They move to a nice conservative-leaning area and then decide to teach the natives how to do it right, they way they did in the cesspool they fled.
