Saw a cmax hooked up to a charging station at work, walking in the other day. I noticed there are about eight or so stations around about. Only that one in use though. I suspect folks ride in at the limit of the vehicle’s range and have to recharge at work to get home. You can see how unplugging a charger might cause some animosity.

I did consider that, and my first thought was, who in their right mind buys a vehicle that they can't guarantee will be able to make the round trip?

I see these gadgets for sale where you lay your electronic devices on it and it charges them (no plugs/cords); I’d imagine they can do that on a larger scale (they’d just have to park them in a certain section of the lot). Couldn’t imagine the cost, though...
