This expression of bad manners and hostility in a theater in Florida did not help the case for concealed carry.

There was a sign up at the entrance of the theater, “Please turn off cell phones and pagers before entering theater”, but apparently, the deceased did not think this applied to him. When the retired police officer stood up and spoke sharply, telling him to end the conversation and turn off the phone, the rather boorish phone user threw a bucket of popcorn at the person who confronted him. Things must have spun a little out of control then.

Why was Trayvon Martin lying on the ground dead, again?

That was not a “stand your ground” situation, either.

The shooter in Florida was an retired LEO and would probay still be carrying in most states regardless of how strict their unconstitution gun laws might be. As the tip of the spear of the government he is one of our betters.
