Heard the real reason for legalizing pot: If it is legal, it can be taxed just like cigarettes. Appraently that is the argument being used in the Maryland Legislature to get legalization passed here in this progressive, socialist and communist dictatorship of the democraptic party.

Any drug which kills brain cells is perfectly suited to create more Democrat voters.

Seems more like Reid would be a member of
Church of Beelzebub of Latter-day Satanists.

His brain is fried...that would explain a LOT.

Reid, who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is not one who normally rushes to embrace controversial substances.

“I’ve never tried it,”

How can you be a member of a church and never try it.

Also the difference between Dirty Harry and a libertarian is that libertarians have principles.

Reid went on. “I think that there’s some medical reasons for marijuana.”

There are medical reasons for morphine and cocaine to you F’n idiot! Doesn’t mean we should make it more accessible and over the counter...My God, the left’s stupidity is only outdone by their false rationale.

it is all BS.

the “medicinal” elements of pot are TOTALLY available in pill form at the pharmacy today. A legitimate Dr. perscription is the only problem. This includes glacoma patients.

As such effort should include mandatory medical suspension of any DL license and a complete CDL prohibition.

That doesn’t make him a libertarian. If he had suddenly become fiscally conservative, I might have said “maybe”. The man’s a statist authoritarian of the type who wishes to pacify the populace with Soma (a Huxleyan rather than Orwellian, at least thus far).

“Reid, who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’

If he does belong to that church I do not want any part of it..He is the devils half brother and is a disgrace to humanity..

I for one have never taken any illegal drugs or smoked pot..I do however believe if pot can help people with their pain it would be alright for them to us it..Not make it legal to everyone like they did in Colorado..

Stupid people are going to use drugs, legal or not. End the WOD and the stupid people will kill themselves and stop voting Democrat (in a decade or two).

No Harry Reid is an opportunist seeking a platform that will attract a block of voters. Want a dim to win? Put pot on the ballot. It works every time.

Rats jumping ship for the obvious reason that they can get more tax dollars. It also makes them look “cooler” to the young and ignorant crowd who votes Rat in droves anyway but hey, they could gain an extra few votes right?
