The tea party is going to be stronger than ever now that so many Republicans see they have been used for fund raising and tossed aside for corporatism.

The Republican Party organizationally and many Republicans individually never were opposed to Obamacare, they just thought their plan would be better.

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former economic advisor to John McCain and who opposed passage of Obamacare, has started a think tank premised on keeping, but fixing, Obamacare. If you're a dude with a hyphenated last name, something's wrong.

They were never opposed to Obamacare because they think (rightfully so) that a portion of any insurance company bailouts will end up in their personal bank accounts or campaign coffers.
They’re on the take.

What - exactly - is the difference between a Democrat and the GOP-e? In what areas of substance does the GOP-e differ from Democrats?
Obamacare? - no
Amnesty? - no
Abortion? - no
Expanding government? - no
Hating Conservatives? no
Federal fiscal integrity? - no
Just where is there any difference?

Does the Chamber REALLY think we regular voters are going to stand for this? How does one replace the Chamber’s leadership?

"The Republican Party organizationally and many Republicans individually never were opposed to Obamacare, they just thought their plan would be better. wanted the credit for such a plan."
Many of us here saw this coming. How can a big government Republican oppose big government?

The split up is now in full swing. What we have with the current Republicans are socialist Democrats hiding under Conservative garb. The Republican saboteurs have been unmasked. The first objective in warfare is to define your enemy.

With your permission I’d like to copy your post and paste it in response to the trolls who frequently push the “lesser of two evils” claptrap here at FR.

I am greatly enjoying pointing out to the Occupy wall street crowd that they are on the same side as wall street.

This is the website for the RINO Obamacare lover. Strange, it doesn’t allow for COMMENTS on its articles. Because they are all about fair and open exchange of ideas, you know.

“Just where is there any difference?”
I would have said the military and then Paul Ryan changes that to “no difference.”

Our government is about money. Nothing but money. The only thing that matters to the politicians in both parties is stealing other people’s money. They could care less about America and Americans. All they care about is how to steal everyone else’s money.

Not one Conservative... real Conservative... not a lying progressive republican trying to fool people into believing they are Conservative... wants anything to do with that communist destroyer of health care in America.

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, another MeCain douche-bag like Steve Schmidt!

You do not change the chamber of communists... you remove them from any position of authority. Business people despise them... do not join them... ridicule them and they will shrink.

The Chamber of Commerce is declaring it will work to fix, not repeal, Obamacare. In fact, just last week the head of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said, The administration is obviously committed to keeping the law in place, so the chamber has been working pragmatically to fix those parts of Obamacare that can be fixed. I agree that The administration is obviously committed to keeping the law in place" (just like the Captain of the Titanic was obviously committed to steaming into the icebergs) but the root problem of Obamacare isn't political. It's arithmetic.
If the Republicans do anything except stand back and watch it burn, they're crazy.
