It doesn't say his weapons were taken, but I hope they were. But, would they have the right to take his guns? If one threatens to attack one’s neighbors, is that enough to arrest someone and take his weapons? Certainly, if, as a sex offender, he was not allowed to have weapons, then they could take them.

Most sex offenses are felonies, so he's probably got an issue on that regard. Plus, other freepers tell me he was putting together explosives -- that's a charge, a felony one, and all caught on camera.

There are more and more minor crimes becoming 'sex charges' including such trivial nonsense as peeing in an alley out of sight of anyone. That is the negative side of the encroaching Police State we are in......but, at the present moment, most of them are still felonies.

Why dedicate the money to purchase, and the space to store. Those carrying costs can be as high as 20% of the value per year. Cheaper and more cost effective to loot.

Generally JIT is a disaster for most businesses (your vendors get more influence over your business than you think)...

You can see where JIT leads to a competition downward. The vendor can/will ship you junk, you have no alternative but to use it because you have no CYA inventory, so you stretch payment to “net 60”, and round and round it goes.
