Conservative journalist and author Michelle Malkin is speaking out in support of Tamera Mowry, the former child star who said last week that she was subjected to hurtful racism online because she has a white husband.
Mowry, who starred along with her identical twin on the '90s sitcom "Sister, Sister," is biracial and married Fox News correspondent Adam Housley in 2011. Speaking Friday on an episode of the OWN network's "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" the 35-year-old said she was shocked by some of the comments she read about her relationship online.
"I get called 'white man's whore,'" she said through tears. "The new one was 'back in the day you cost $300, but now you're giving it to him for free' … It's hurtful, because my husband and I are so openly and fine with showing love, but people choose to look past love and spew hate. That's what hurts me because I've never experienced so much hate ever in my life."
In a column on her website Wednesday morning, Malkin wrote that she, as a Filipino woman married to a white man, has also been on the receiving end of racial remarks online.
"Mowry is not alone... Take it from someone who knows. 'Oriental Auntie-Tom,' 'yellow woman doing the white man's job,' 'white man's puppet,' 'Manila whore,' and 'Subic Bay bar girl' are just a few of the printable slurs I've amassed over the past quarter-century," she wrote. "Horrific? Yes. Shocking? Not at all. What Mowry experienced is just a small taste of what the intolerance mob dishes out against people 'of color' who love, think, and live the 'wrong' way. I've grown so used to it that I often forget how hurtful it can be."

I am offended no end when anyone decides to make comments about whom someone dates or marries. I have heard it myself back in high school (Lordy that was ages ago). I hated it then and I hate it now.

The hate always comes from the left, and yes, the main reason they are trashing Tamera is because she is married to a Fox News reporter, so they assume that she is a Republican because she is married to a journalist from Fox News..if she were married to a reporter on MSNBC or CNN the bashing probably wouldn’t be so harsh. Liberals are the biggest hypocrites on the planet. They preach “tolerance” they talk about “Marriage Equality” how people should have the right to marry who they want..yet in this case they trash this beautiful young woman because of who she is married to..because when liberals talk about marriage equality, they are only tolerant to those who share their views, liberals are phonies and scum bags plain and simple

Tia and Tamera Mowry are both professing Christians. That may be an additional reason that she is being targeted.
About a year ago Tamera was on a talk show and was asked about her relationship with her husband, and about her attitude toward premarital sex. She responded that she did not believe in it, and that she and her husband had been intimate once about two years before they married; that she had been a virgin up until that date (she would have been about 30 years of age then); and that she regretted doing it. She vowed that she would remain celibate thereafter until she married - and she and Adam both agreed on this.
She seems like a very nice person who is well grounded.
She and her twin were born in Germany while her white Dad was in the military and stationed there. Her Mom is from the Bahamas.

The terms “Manila Whore” and “Subic Bay Bar Girl” were not meant to be derogatory. For instance, on a flight across the pacific a traveling companion asked one of the AF pilots “How much does a whore cost in Manila?”
The pilot told him “Around $20 or so.”

Good for you. Mine is a Filipina, and yes, like Michelle Malkin, she is really hot. We see people whispering, but we couldn't care less what anyone thinks. You are right, the truth sucks for some.

They ARE an adorable couple! My daughter and I love to watch their show. Both twins are adorable and funny. Adam is a lucky guy, but I’m sure he knows that ;-)
Truer words were never spoken. It’s always the ugly, fat lesbo women with self-esteem issues who never got a date in high school who are the most vicious and vindictive. Attractive interracial couples just drive them nuts. Throw in a couple of pretty babies, and they just can’t handle it.
Here’s a dirty little secret. Bi-racial women prefer white men? Why? Because the majority of them had black fathers who weren’t around, and were raised by their single white mothers and white grandparents and relatives.
Bullsh**t. Several members of my extended family are bi-racial. On the average, yellow girls prefer black men because they think they’re stronger and more virile. And yellow boys prefer black women because they think white women are too needy and clinging.
