LINCOLN — Gov. Dave Heineman is wasting no time promoting his push for tax-relief legislation in 2014.
Heineman scooped his own State of the State address — scheduled for delivery this morning — by revealing his plan Tuesday night to seek up to $500 million in tax cuts over the next three years.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m more concerned that the taxes will be shifted to local city/county control. Would be nice though.

Heineman is a pretty good conservative. If it were not for him, we would not have a concealed carry permit in Nebraska. However, this is not going to happen. There are too many stealth Demoncrats in the legislature.
