TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — President Hassan Rouhani has praised a landmark nuclear deal struck in Geneva as his country's victory, telling a home crowd it effectively means the "surrender" of Western powers to Iranian demands.

Yeah, he doesn't have to "cast" it as anything. For once an Iranian leader can just tell it like it is, and he's right - it is a huge win for them.

You know how in any negotiation you have your "going in" position. The other side has theirs. Eventually, maybe, you meet in the middle somewhere. Well, this whole deal stinks. It looks like it was written by the Iranians as their initial "going in" position and all Kerry did was say "Yeah, that seems ok."
