I stopped watching TWC when they went global warmer, but I would have stopped anyway because they never showed useful weather anymore. It was always “storm stories” or weather from somewhere else in the country. Instead of waiting for 20 seconds of local weather every 15 minutes or so, I started checking online whenever I wanted to know. Now I can check the weather on my phone anytime I want in seconds. They were great back when they were the endless loop blue screen of local weather and smooth jazz, but who needs TWC anymore?

That's why they went over to "Storm Stories."

But a lot of the time, here in New England, I want more detail than what my phone can offer, and I will tune in for a detailed report "on the 8's."

During the summer? Not so much.

You are correct.

The weather can best be learned by reviewing the various maps. I can read the maps and tell within 10 minutes when it will start raining
