People will never learn. This is the law and the e-pubs are going to fix it. They would never give up this power over the people. They say one thing but are doing the opposite. I see the control thing as mainly being the domain of the Democrats. What’s motivating the GOP-e is cold hard cash. There’s just so many ways to squeeze dollars out of a massive boondoggle like this - campaign contributions from insurance and pharmaceutical companies and other interested parties, gifts from lobbyists, jobs as lobbyists, jobs as “consultants”, it’s endless.
It would have been an easier thing to get Jimmy Hoffa to surrender the Teamsters pension fund than to get the current Republican establishment to actually honor the wishes of their voters and repeal Obamacare.
