BTW....on Christie’s assertion that he didn’t know about the traffic incident....

Any cursory investigation of his staff in regards to the bridge lane closures would have revealed the e-mails and their culpability in the matter.

Christie did not investigate the allegations that his staff was involved in the bridge lane closures.

Christie did not investigate the allegations because he didn’t want to know the truth.

Christie didn’t want to know, because he already knew...Christie himself was behind the bridge lane closures. ANYONE who thinks or says otherwise is either extremely naive, or lying...either-or—pick one.

Add to everything you said about Christie's denials being illogical:

If Christie were a leader that cared about people, his response to his staff "not being responsible" would've been "then find out who IS responsible and get those lanes opened".

So even if we believe him (barf alert) he demonstrated that he doesn't give a damn about people.
