Snopes is a Leftist website, run by Leftist activists, financed by Leftist money interests, who use their “street cred” to further the Leftist agenda.
They have no background in research or investigation, yet they’re considered the absolute authority on fact-checking, and any detractors are roundly destroyed, in typical Alinsky fashion.
Do NOT give them the Web hit and the ad dollars they so desperately need.

However, they're very good at debunking false sourcing of materials, particularly chain emails (like the one posted here).

I do not know where it came from but snopes cannot and should not be trusted any more than any other media outlet.

It doesn’t sound like she plagiarized. The way I read it was that she forwarded the chain email and some idiot substituted her name as the author along the line.
