No argument from me; great designer garments are art.

I was in the Uffizi gallery in Florence one November, all that incredible art sitting on the walls, but I spent more time examining the original Giorgio Armani cocktail dresses exhibited in glass cases. The perfection made me want to cry….I always wanted the kind of life in which I could keep a few excellent seamstresses employed. Could not be further from that at the moment, alas.

But I’m not giving up.
