Gates said that Biden was a person of integrity - but was wrong on every single issue.

Gates was sort of right. By integrity, he meant that Biden actually had positions and stuck to them, not necessarily because he felt that it was to his benefit (unlike Obama, whose positions changed with every poll). Of course, Biden was among the most left-leaning members and was picked basically because the Dems wanted an older white guy who was solid in his left-wing political positions, already elected to office and serving with no major mishaps, and could cover for the lunatic they were presenting as their candidate. So Biden may have had some integrity, but as Gates said, he was completely wrong on every issue.

But like it or not, this was a brilliant political play, and Biden was one of the things that got Obama elected. The older white male voter felt that there would be somebody to bail him out if Obama turned out to be as crazy as he looked. The problem with this dream is that Biden was very leftwing and pretty useless to begin with, and now he’s practically invisible because Obama obviously felt that Biden was either causing him problems or distracting too much from His Holiness Obama.

And during Democrat debates, it was Biden who told the reality of getting out of Iraq is going to be more than a year when Hillary and Obama were saying immediately. Biden is there to give military credibility to the ticket.

This is a fake media narrative to distract an audience, Biden is not the one who needs propping.
