MSNBC's Politics Nation on Friday featured a lab coat-wearing Al Sharpton pontificating about global warming. Instead of using real facts, the racial-agitator turned faux-scientist tried to exploit the "everybody believes it's real" argument to attack those who disagree with the anthropogenic global warming theory.

When you have studied logical fallacies and specious argument techniques, it’s really funny to see someone who has such a high opinion of himself using one of the more obvious ones.

When Chris Hayes had his Saturday MSNBC show last year he said on air that he had a rule to never invite a ‘Climate Change denier’ on his show, implying that he would invite others he disagrees with on. He said they are not welcome being nothing but crackpots.
Last night he must have been so frustrated with this ship stuck in ice story and Republicans reactions to it that he invited a ‘Climate Change denier’ on his 8pm show to debate it with him.

In the late 1800s, Galveston Bay on the TX coast froze so solid that people were ice skating on it. That was before cars and utility companies, so the use of fossil fuels was not the cause. Globull warming eco-terrorists are simply ignorant of weather history.

Haven't every single one of these so-called "scientists" who predicted massive gloom and doom been shown to be, well, just flat wrong? The polar caps are still there - gaining mass. Islands haven't disappeared, Arizona still has no oceanfront property...
These "scientists" base their hysterics on cherry picked and manipulated data. That is a fact, they have been caught red-handed doing it. Their computer climate models when fed historical data fail to predict current conditions. The temperature trends they predict are in fact smaller than the "correction factors" being applied to their data. (used to account for things such as land use changes, population density changes, measurement/instrument accuracy improvements, etc.) So they can basically manipulate these "corrections" to show us melting down or freezing out in the next 100 years.
this was just embarrassing….even for Sharpton……sheesh!
