The Pope is a Jesuit. This religious order definitely leans left. But his statement that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Quran are opposed to every form of violence” is not even close to the truth. It reminds me of the lies Obama tells to the American people. Maybe the uninformed voter can be persuaded by the lies, but not those who keep informed.

The Pope's propaganda seems to be similar. Anyone who has read up on Mohammed and the Koran knows that what he is saying is definitely not true, but those who haven't bothered to find out what Islam teaches might believe him.

The Pope is spreading propaganda about Islam and I find that disturbing. Priests in the Jesuit order are highly educated, so it's not like he doesn't know.
